The above link is to a column written by Art Hoppe. It will dramatically teach you to appreciate life, and talking about columns, there is one other that I would also refer regarding the same subject. This one was written by Jon Carroll on November 27, 2008. Here is an excerpt.
"...there is always something to be grateful for...sunsets, apples, bedrooms in the morning, Bruce Springsteen, a child's second birthday, the smile on the face of a passing stranger, rivers, mountaintops, cathedrals, Shakespeare, Tina Fey, the curve of a thigh, the curve of a road, the nation of Switzerland, Carl Hiassen, grass, orange, Bola Sete, jumbo shrimp, Pascal's theorem, Ockham's razor, clean restrooms, potable water, penguins, French kissing or peanuts."
The article goes on and on, but I liked his list the most, which is why I wrote it in its entirety. What would be on your list? I know what would have been on Art Hoppe's list. If you didn't notice he died 2 weeks after writing his article.
